Get a reality check before next season Peter because you are not doing yourself or Huddersfield Town any favours by dismissing the 3 Barnsley goals . After all they were nothing in comparison with our 2 superbly worked goals were they ? . I went to the game last night and have just watched a tape of the match and I would like to take issue with you on your actions and some of your comments . (1) You must have been watching a different game when you said " I could not see them scoring ". Well I certainly could because they looked dangerous every time they attacked and it was only a lack of quality with the final ball that kept the first half goalless . (2) The stonewall penalty you disagreed with . Go and read the rules of the game Peter , you can not push an opposing player out of the way in the penalty area . The only hint of doubt would have been where the incident took place . The referee and his assistant got it right . (3) Dont count your chickens before they have hatched . I know you wear your heart on your sleeve but your over the top celebration at our equalising goal . You would have thought the game was over and we were on our way to Cardiff . The Barnsley players witnessing this turned it into the greatest motivational incentive and duly stuck it up us . Barnsley played well and deserved to go through even though they had been completely outplayed in the first leg . Congratulations to Andy Richie for turning things round . This semi-final just about sums up Towns season .Brilliant for the first part and gradually getting worse towards the end . We were just pumping long balls in to Andy Booth but as good as he is he just couldn't pull us out of the sh*t one more time. We rightly pride ourselves on our young team but we have become a one dimentional team that is totally dependant on the ledgend that is Andy Booth . If only the board had supplied Jacko with funds to buy the likes of Leon Knight or Luke Beckett then we would have been going up as champions . Andy Booth has been magnificent this season and I believe if he had been playing for any of the other teams that finished in the top ten , he would have got them promoted . The sad fact is that he has very fews seasons left and I would love to see him win one final promotion with Town . Anyway thats my moan over with , I have already got my season ticket so lets hope we can finish the job off next season .
