Just back from hols and caught up with all of the goings on The new kit, Well we have had worse and I sure it will sell pretty well. I thought with Lotto involved we would get a kit which was a modern decent looking kit, which reflected the current style and trends, I was wrong, The person at BFC picking the kits is probably a bloke in his 50's. Whoever it is, are they watching some of the smart shirts currently being worn at the euros, clearly not. Ours looks like a shirt from 1995, more upsetting is it does have a hint of an old blunts kit, not good when the sunday papers get all of the photos wrong as it is. Please Whoever chooses our kit, look at what the big sides are wearing and why kids in our town go out and buy these kits. They have a style and have recently been very simple and plain. Ours this season has had the full works on it with the double white lines and its not needed, and in my view cheapens the look. Could you ever see Man Utd with a shirt like ours, no is the answer. Im probably just disappointed we didnt get a red version of the fiorentina kit, but we do still seem to be behind on this kind of thing. Although the shorts a cracking and I think the lads will looks ok come first day at loftus road,
Personally, l think the kits best for years... the Euro kits, mainly by Nike and Puma are *****, too plain. But if you're really wanting to see a good kit check out the new Peterborough home kit by Adidas.
