It will be ok though because Hill is a great manager, until he has to get the team up for the second half or try and come from behind. When we score first he is good though, in fact according to some , he is a genius!!.
This is better! http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/fsthalf.html I'm sure Hillflcker has the answer but I'm not sure he's told the players yet!
Re: Unfortunately no game ends after the first half Im loving Hillcroft, and everything they are doing. BUT, my only worry, doubt or criticism, would be this total inability to recover points from losing positions. It doesnt show Keith up well, regarding nous or motivation. And it doesnt show up well for the squad, regarding bottle and team spirit, which we are told is amazing. There you go. My criticism for today
Re: Unfortunately no game ends after the first half Spot on Whitey, I agree completely. It's the only criticism I have but it's getting to be a real concern.
Using that logic We can say that a league table is not just based on points gained while coming from behind so yours wasn't a useful statistic either! In truth, they both highlight a similar story. They rely on a good start and his season thankfully they have had plenty of them. If Hill can address the poor second half issue then Barnsley they would hold onto more leads and come from behind more, leading to a surge up the league.
If you like I just didn't think the fact that we throw away a lot of first half leads was something to celebrate.
I've looked at it in more detail (no surprise there then ) In 20 of our games this season the full time result has been the same as the half time result In 6 of our games the final result has been worse than the half time result In only 3 games has the full time result been better than the half time result If anyone is interested I can post the home and away figures
