but today I would have liked to see AR hold his hands up and say he got it tactically wrong after Kay was sent off.
1)Immeadiately after penalty he puts Togwell to RB and hassle into CB. This leaves big gaps in middle with no ball winner hence second goal scored. He then puts Togwell back into centre and Devaney covering RB
2)At start of second half to have 3 defenders and leave acres of space for Huckerbey (probably the best creative player in Championship was just Nieve. Hence score moving to 5-1

My take was when Kay was sent off was to replace Devaney or Hayes with Tonge and playing 1 up frount. I admire AR's courage to attack but we have to try to frustrate some of these teams or our Goals against column will not look too good

It's nice to see that some people have the sense to see the real problem. You are absolutely right and no it isn't a criticism of the team or the players but of the tactics employed.

Whilst backing Ritchie and his attacking intentions.

I am surprised we didnt change it at half-time , I guess getting the goal gave us a glimmer of hope so we kept on with the attacking system.</p>

    Obviously

AR was gambling on us getting the next goal. At which stage I'm sure we'd of tried to shut up shop. It didn't work, but fair play to AR for having the bottle to try it.

    True

We should remember that he's new to management, and will be on a sharp learning curve

perhaps he is more individual in trying to stick to his beliefs rather than doing summat alien. Or perhaps he just got it wrong. Or perhaps Norwich have better players than us

    RE: True...

I was just stating a fact, not relating it to what he did or didn't do in the Norwich game. As far as I'm concerned, when Kay was sent off we were f*cked and there was nothing Ritchie could do that would make any difference.

So this is not a criticism but you are being critical of the tactics used. Don't get it really!

Ritchie is the manager of the club and I trust his judgement far more than yours.

What are your management credentials within the football league setup?

Thought it was supposed to be a football forum where people could staye their opinions and debate tactics and things.Thats what going to footballs always been about pubs are full of it before and after games.BUT ON HERE? mention anything other than 100% in favour and the Andy Ritchie mafia are on your back, yes its his decision what ACTUALLY happens on the pitch but is nobody allowed to state a contrary opinion anymore without being slaughtered as bloody negative or anti Ritchie.(furious)

    RE: Console yourself..

with the thought that you are one of the few people on here, who are still capable of thinking for yourself and not following like sheep the mantra of the people who think that because AR and therefore the team got lucky last season, it will automatically happen again this season.

RE: This is not a criticism answer to MDG

MDG - Its not a Critisism because what i was asking was for AR to hold his hands up and say he got it wrong. We lost 5-1 so some one got it wrong. I personally thought the players did well but the system employed when we went to 10 men was flawed allowing Huckerby far too much space, hence conceding a further 4 goals. I guess I have the same credentials as you within the football league setup i.e a fan of BFC.

Upto now I have never criticised Ritchie and do not in the above I think it was nievity and hopefully this will be learned from.

in my post I think I said I admired AR's courage to attack, perhaps you missed this or didn't read that far
