    I suppose Australia could be considered as continent rather than an island, but I’m not sure that would help his argument.

    I imagine that there's various things he can quote, such as general volume of people flying in, feasibility of quarantining them all, volume of imports etc.. to answer that question. Sadly, the real reason is they didn't take it seriously enough early on to even try, so he makes something up as he goes along and makes himself look stupid.

    Australia the only country which is also a continent and funnily enough an island because it has no land borders and is surrounded by water.

    Up there with when she said they couldn't possibly have seen increased infection rates coming when schools and universities reopened in September.

    Utterly inept. All of them. And the fact they are ahead in the polls is staggering.
