Six teams currently averaging a point a game or less. This could be our saving grace. As unbelievable as it is, we have four wins in 28 games but we still have a realistic chance of staying up. I'm not confident we will and I think we will pretty much know by the end of the month, but I think as little as 45 points could be enough.
On paper we have a better squad than when wilson took over, unfortunately our downfall maybe that too many aren't yet match fit and haven't as yet gelled as a team. When they do i think we can match most in this division, however by then it may be too late.
Agreed, that's our chance. It's early days yet, hence the figures below could be described as premature extrapolation, but the bottom 4 teams would have the following points after 46 games if they maintained the same form. Millwall 41 Charlton 39 Barnsley 36 Yeovil 33 I think your figure of 45 could even be lower. And Blackpool are still sinking too. We need 2 more wins than any one of the teams above and we'll stay up.
I don't believe it's the lowest quality I just believe there's a bigger difference between the top & bottom sides due to the parachute payments.
