I'm sorry but its time Johnson went. After watching yesterday we have a team geared up for league 2. A team of youngsters who are not good enough except a few. Hammill is quality but every team like yesterday will kick him to bits or put two players on him! Mawson is shocking. Our defence is the worst back 4 we've ever had. We are miles away from being a championship quality side and the plonker in Lee Johnson who has assembled this team should be decent enough to leave. I'm starting to think maybe our board are gearing us up for league 2 with us having a young inexperienced cheap manager. Young cheap players. Yesterday fans came out in droves to support the team and yet again they are let down by a shocking display from a pub team. It's a good job Fleetwood couldn't shoot because every time they went forward they nearly scored because our defence is shocking. We are are crying out for an experienced spine in our team from keeper. Centre half, centre mid, to striker. If so be build the kids around experience but Johnson hasn't a clue. Fletcher looks decent but again he should have been brought on at half time for williams. God we need an experienced manager now so much. Bring back the Bassett days, think of the players we had back then. Now we simply have the worst Barnsley side ever...if cryne cares then he needs to act, because at the moment we've have hammill and nothing else.

I think in terms of players we have a very good team unfortunately we don't have very good manager to manage them

Yes I'm inclined to agree I was both sad and fuming at yesterday's debacle , flat-footed slow defence, except white , massive whole in midfield , winger doubly marked , which we didn't tactickly take advantage of , Williams really playing his first full game in an unfamiliar role , and an out of sorts centre forward who is no good at leading the line on his own and a thread bare bench , Abbott was blowing out of his arse after an hour and was cramping up after 70 mins . Just despair as to where we are going , a fantastic turnout similar to the Sheff u game last year , and performances on both occasions just convinced them why they weren't attending in the first place . It may be my mood but the whole place just stinks of decline and ******** and must agree this is the worst Barnsley side I have seen in 40 years .

    Mr Johnson is rubbish ?

or is it that the ones who have employed him are the ones who are rubbish... Hill, Flitcroft Wilson, Johnson... and still no change in our fortunes as such... Wilson has yet to prove himself at Chesterfield, but Hill and Flitcroft seem to be doing OK at Rochdale and Bury... so when do we start looking beyond the manager.. but hey wait we do not have a manager, we have a Head Coach, Hmmm... so who exactly is calling the shots, well we are told its non of the Cryne kiddies playing Football Mannager 2016 EA SPORTS, so what is happening, but summat aint right at Oakwell that's for sure.

You are right, and it would be nice if we actually had an overall opinion from all the fans. This forum is not the best for getting a true opinion
I think we are never going to OWN a side because it is all loan players. Just recently we had nearly turned the corner and even I was getting optimistic. Then we lose the nucleus of the side with loans leaving and injuries. Result was as seen on Saturday
So it is all start again. Then our young players are not being prepared properly for games and struggle. Then their are players fetched in and sat on the bench never played Then the other players brought in like Phenix and such, why?
I have no confidence whatsoever in Johnson and he will never get us out of this mess. He is the largest contributor to it.
The other thing I do not like is the way the die hard fans are treat. Cryne and Mansford have deliberately gone quiet, and the other two are non existent. So sit back lads because it is always going to be a bumpy ride, and mostly bumpy

You're entitled to your own opinion but to me that seems like a bit of an overreaction. Yes we didn't play that well yesterday but we got a draw and have a strong chance of getting to Wembley. If you went to the Blackpool and Millwall games you will have seen something that we haven't seen too often this season: a team with pace, power and attacking prowess. To me that showed that this team is slowly but surely getting it right, as is Johnson. In fact we've only lost 3 of the last 11 games in all competitions.

So yes we didn't play that well yesterday but things in general have been improving as I see it.

    Just my opinion though

I did and much of the tripe we've seen this season has been as bad but in a lower division.

Yes but the loan system and his choice of tactics and his favourites has now depleted the team, so we are not the team that was picking us up. We are basically back to square one. At Blackpool , Harris screwed their full back into the floor, gone back to Cardiff and so it goes on.

The only player we lost due to loans was Pearson. I big miss granted but as I saw it, Johnson tried to play Williams in the Watkins role which had worked so well. With hindsight, it would have been better starting with Fletcher, yes, but I don't agree we played 4-5-1 yesterday; Williams dropped deeper because he was not getting enough service.

As regards to Harris, I think he was injured so went back, and besides is no better than what we've got now: 0 goals, 0 assists (at least in games I went to)

Obviously using so many loans is not ideal, but Davey used them, Robins used them, Hill, Flitcroft, Wilson, Johnson - sacking Johnson would not suddenly mean we stop using the loan system

This Is the worst Barnsley side in my lifetime and I include the Jim Iley ones in that. Johnson seems a poor manager but there is no sugar coating how poor we are.

I don't think it's the worst in terms of individuals as there's some talented players in there but as a team we're shocking.

I have my own theories as to why but seen as Johnson can't be sacked after 8 consecutive losses I'm not going to go on about it.

We're basically a side that relies on individual quality from Hammill or a great set piece delivery from Hourihane & for a club of our size at this level that isn't in massive debt, that isn't dealing with the fall out of relegation that's shocking
