I heard about the Mark Cooper link 1st thing this morning, And what he had to say next i thought was cods wallop till the Cooper link became common knowledge, He says we are not has skint has we all think we are, Wilson was sacked because the board wanted to splash the cash in January but Wilson wanted to keep faith with players he had brought in till the end of the season then see where we are, Deadline day apparntly we had 4 players lined up but Wilson wouldnt sanction them..
Where have we heard that before when the owner has sacked a fans favourite .... Ritchie .... It's codswallop
If Cryne had wanted to sign them he'd have signed them. His club, his money. Danny didn't sanction the signings, Cryne and/or Mansford do.
No idea whether that's true or not. I have been wondering about that transfer deadline day though. It did seem odd that there was so much talk about getting players in and it all came to nothing. Especially when it was clear there were still areas that needed strengthening
If true would of made scence why we got hammerd on saturday players heads down because danny hot chop for wanting to stick by em. The money we spend though is out of crynes back pocket we get good attendences for this league but if it wasnt for cryne we would be signing free transfers and loans like the rest of the teams in the division.
my spidey sense is tingling Mansford did say they had some players lined up and people would sit up and take note. Wonder if the Jed McRory links last January, the Mark Cooper link today and the article linked below, could have any bearing of what is going on behind the scenes at BFC. Could JM be lining something up? http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/...ndon_Town_ownership_appeal_dismissed/?ref=rss Could be 2+2 = 5 but weird that we would even think about going for a manager who is with a team pushing for promotion and above us in the league.
