Looking at him in the after-match photo on the main site, who the hell decided to give him such an important fixture? I would imagine he was not far off the youngest person on the pitch. Someone at the FA needs to take a long hard look at himself. As Alan Brazil said this morning on TalkSport, the penalty decision could ultimately send us down.
what difference does his age and looks have to do with it? I've seen plenty of refs close to retiring that are absolutely ****. Uriah Rennie bottles the big occasions but still keeps getting them. Mike Riley another etc
You can't say that decision could send us down .... ........ yes it was a sickener last night but by a week on Sunday we will have played 46 games and had more than enough opportunities to win games and get enough points to survive, if we don't it will be down to bad tactics, poor formations, poor selections of players & negative play. IMHO the players are good enough to stay up ........ the management team are a different matter completely
RE: You can't say that decision could send us down .... Agreed .... i can't help believing with another man in chargge and with the same squad we'd have been safe a month ago. Davey's had a fair crack and he's taken us as far as he can whatever happens between now and the end of the season.
No, that's Michael Oliver... ...the only one of these wonderkids who's actually any good.
The rest are all clones, rule-book refs who haven't an ounce of common sense between them. Attwell, Whitestone, Cook - half a brain cell and a rule book each, all you need to make it to the top these days.
