Just reflecting on today's game and I think we've been playing with that "last 15 mins mentality" in most of our recent matches. We seem to have become obsessed with "not losing" and it's seeing us scared of simply going at teams to beat them, kind of paralysing our play. Our midfield have dropped back 30 yards. Through our great run, we played positive football, forward passes, driving at teams and so on. Today, and in a lot of recent games, particularly at home, we've become more pedestrian again, a la Johnson, with endless sideways passes or blindly lumping it forward, achieving nothing other than conceding posession. That said, teams have shut us down too. And Watkins is a huge loss. Today, I thought our key players were pretty poor collectively, sometimes trying too hard to make things happen, panic football. I'd have taken Winnall and Hammill off personally, but that's just my opinion on their game today, and I'd start both of them next week as they've shown regularly that they can win us games. Yes, today was a complete let down. But the last 4 months have been an astonishing transformation. Where was BFC on your agenda when you were opening your Christmas presents, stranded in 24th spot?
