Goes to court, i decide f*c* it i'll argue the T***.... I ask for many many documents, inlcuding officers training, history, complaints history, Equipment records, calibration certificate, All his records and his written and typed statment, inlucding his colleagues. Also i ask for the guidlines for the where the equipement can be used and proof that the sight used was appropriate.. I get a letter back refusing half of it, and the rest would be offered at court only... hmmmm sus sus.. Court - Officer 36** can you please tell me what time you pulled me over.. Yes - 18.59, on the 01.01.2004... Really? - Because your typed statement says 17.59, your hand book says 19.36 and your written notes say 18.39... Which was it ? I don't know... Okay You job requires accuracey and and eye for detail correct? Yes When you pulled me over you checked the car inside and out, and look closely at the tyres why ?, To check for legal tread ? Okay, so how many seats are in the car and what colour was it ? Blue and 5 seats. Really? Photo shown, it has 2 and always has since i purchased it, the colour code on the car shows it as white ? Sure you got the correct car ? Yes. Hmmmmmm doubt it What equipment are you using these days - lti 20-20.. Yes Are you trained to use it ? Yes The calibration certificate says it has only EVER been tested up to 80 mph, does that mean you can gaurantee it accuracey ? No Why use it on cars on the motorway where the average speed in the uk in 85? Don't know So its accurate then I don't know So if you were pulled using the gun would you admit it ? I got 21 day ban, and £500 fine and a clean liscence back apart from the ban? I don't get our courts at all.....
