    I am convinced they would find a way to let him play.

    Reminds me of the time when Liverpool won the champions league but under the rules of the competition weren't allowed to play the year after. However they came up with a workaround and I am sure that they would do the same with Steele. It's not like he is ever going to play for West Brom again.

    Got slated for it but like others on here I can't believe that this scenario hasn't been thought of

    Would be expensive but my God - an FA cup final???????? Worth every penny.

    my concern about steel is if w.b.a win on the saturday will it effect his frame of mind if he knows he wouldn't then be able to play in the final

    wouldn't be upto WBA, see FA loan rules..... but if signed on a free, would Defoe sitatation occur

    i.e. Defoe couldn't play fpr Pompey on Saturday against Tottenham because of some Transfer ruling.....????

    does anyone know the answer?

    Barnsley FC are pleased to announce that in the event of us reaching the FA cup final tickets will be on sale from 12th April 2008 to 19th April 2008 inclusive :D

    Seriously that's a brilliant deal plenty left over for extras like beer etc etc. I recommend a Flying Hirsch (flying deer) which is a red bull with a small bottle of Jagermeister in it. Lethal!
