    From a cocaine overdose after collecting his £100m cheque, maybe. Floyd is probably the "safest" opponent he could be fighting realistically, wouldn't be surprised for McGregor to last 12 rounds.

    With his UFC background, probably not. He will more than likely end up losing though.

    I think after being punched in the face for 12 rounds he might end up in hospital unless it's all a big show for the money. In the real world mcgregor can't come close to catching mayweather or stop being hit repeatedly by him.

    Floyd is a fantastic defensive boxer, possibly the best ever, so he is unbelievably hard to hit. He will beat McGregor in my opinion but as has been said Floyd is a relatively safe fighter for McGregor.

    I can't see a knock out.

    I'd like to see them both knock each other out in the first 2 seconds of the fight so that everyone has wasted their money supporting this charade.
    Of course may weather should win this easily in the first round but I'm sure they'll drag it out.

    More chance of a McGregor knockout than there is a Mayweather knockout. More chance of a Mayweather win than a McGregor win.

    For me that 1% chance that McGregor has got of winning makes me want to watch it. I think the Irishman can do it, I've just got this feeling.

    I think that whilst Mayweather isn't a massive puncher he will still probably win by KO. He'll be landing punches for fun and Mcgregor will be utterly knackered as the fight wears on.

    I don't think mcgregor will have any intention of going the distance. He'll be prepared to take a few to try and land one.

    it's all a big money making pantomine, that's why every time mcgregor left a hotel in the last few years there was someone outside to tell him "mayweather said this or that" building it all up and up online. That said fair play to em both for making an absolute killing out of a completely pointless "fight".

    I'm not clued up MMA I'll be honest. But I can't see how this can be anything than a very easy victory for Floyd Mayweather.

    Boxing is a completely different discipline to MMA, and some of the best boxers in the world with years of preparation have been defeated by Mayweather. I really don't see how someone with much less experience in that field, will be able to match his speed and technique.

    Again I'm no expert but I don't see how it's any different to Wayne Rooney taking up Rugby just because he has the physique for it.

    Its a absolute con. Mayweather will win whenever he wants to. Can't see it going long at all. Floyd almot certainly to win by KO, probably not knock him out more likely that the ref will end up stepping in. Credit to Mcgregor he's done one hell of a job selling it.
