But if we win tomorrow, it'll feel like a promotion season, we've been in promotion winning form for last 4 months I've not been watching a struggling side I've been watching a team brush aside teams that are going to finish top 6, the feeling amongst the fans is upbeat, its the strangest relegation fight I've ever known

It does sound silly but I think you are spot on - Last saturday for example had all the feeling of us getting one step closer to promotion - it doesnt have the relegation feel at all - its why I will be totally devastated if we go down - so much worse than when we went down under parkin ( we deserved it) and than had we gone down under Davey or Hill

I don't think it is silly at all.

I think on Dec 31st all but the most optimistic of fans thought the club was relegated. This has been a promotion campaign back to the Championship. If it is not successful then it has been a failed promotion push as we were already a league one club at the turn of the year if you see what I mean.

I completely concur. It is a great way to look at it and makes perfect sense to my odd brain.

    I feel the same.

MK Dons away, home wins over Leicester, Wolves, Leeds, Brighton, Hull, Watford, listening commentary as we got that last minute point against Cardiff, the last 4 months have been great, so many brilliant wins & memories, I'd be gutted if we went down, especially for Flicker he doesn't deserve it on his record.

Totally agree, and it's a great perspective to apply to the situation.

Wish I had put that - spot on and thats exactly how it feels but with the one difference that relegation will feel a lot lot worse than had we just missed out on promotion
