Was it not said 3 years since that the minutes silence would be held at the end of the year.? I bring this up in regards to the Steve Cooper incident. On Saturday we had a minutes silence for an albeit nice bloke but had absolutely no connection to BFC. Or is it just me?
But why not at the end of the year. The club made a very strong point on this matter. As for the idea to have it in front of a full house of Barnsley fans who the majority had drank a few light ales had me cringing. An ex Blade and Owl man to boot and live on TV. Luckily apart from a few cocks the silence was well observed. It could have been toe curling.
