This month loan "malarkey"

    It's not that I'm glad King Danny is trying to bring in new, hopefully better players.

    But does anyone think a month loan is a bit of a waste of time? You have to integrate them into the team, brief them on the tactics (ie hoof it at O'Grady)

    By the time they have any impact, it's time for them to leave again.

    Shouldn't we be looking at longer loan deals? Mind you one positive of a month is that if they're Shiite it is only for a short term.

    Any opinions welcome.

    It's a youth loan, pal. I think there are limits on how long they can go out for, although I could be wrong.

    i agree. feels like a high strategy to me. but he's probably not thinking beyond getting as many points as he can over the next month. sometimes it can fail miserably, but sometimes it can work out, with young loan players busting get 1st team football and make an impression
