Everything I have read said the Barnsley fans out sang Swansea. But I was sat near the Swansea end and it did not sound like that to me. Just shows it depends where you sit. And as for that wall of sounds our lads took their penalties against! How cool were they - mightily impressed.
On Sky it sounded 50/50, at the ground I couldn't hear them much until they scored, then what struck me was how much like a schoolboy international/ladies hockey match crowd they sounded, very high pitched and girly!
Interesting to note that At the end of 120 mins, the groundstaff were working on the penalty spot at our end of the ground, and all the photographers seemed to be making their way to our end. We all thought they were to be taken our end, then Willi Gerrit (No he won't!!!!) made his way down to their end, and everybody followed suit.
RE: Interesting to note that Look at the replay on sky, the ref tosses then points towards their end, the programme says it's at the referees discretion which end they are taken at.
ah, we were only watching em prepare our end, must have finished their end still, doesnt matter does it, ha ha
