[img=http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/5605/safc1184330950chopra150kx3.jpg] Never mind, we'll pick up a 20 goal a year striker on a free, yeah right Riddler! (shithappens)
he'll find ..................... some Sunderland fans who don't really like the idea of a Magpies fan signing for them-unless he scores a hattrick to beat them !!
I know footballers are professionals blah blah, but Chopra was giving it large at the Stadium of Light when he notched for Newcastle so how is this going to go down in the North East? Where they are all renowned for their rational behaviour and common sense.

He was also giving it large when he scored two for us up there at the start of the season - they didn't like it one bit Went to the game with Chopras best mate and out in Newcastle with him later. Lets just say it was more of a party town than usual - and that's saying something.
Mackems / Geordies - all the same thing really. Scrubbers with funny voices. As you can see - I'd make a great mediator. I'd sort out the middle east in no time. Yours in sport & politics, Stevey T.
You go in that 'sea' nightclub or whatever it's called on The Quayside ? Proper haunt of wannabee celebs and 'look at me types'. Buffalo joe's for me every time...
Used to go on all the time when I lived up there as my mate was their finance manager so it was queue jump, free ins and free drinks. It's fuc-king awful, but properly good fun. You wouldn't want to set up a quiz team with the clientele, though.
Or as it's known in those parts: Club Badger. It doesn't have a revolving dancefloor though. There. I've said it.
They always seem more than happy in Buffalo's to get up and dance y'all.
As you stand at the bar with a sweaty ***** gyrating 26 cm from your face.

I read that as "You wouldn't want to set up a quim team with the clientele, though". Spending far too much time on here.
Yeah, went in Sea that night. DJ played the Automatic "Monster" song and the whole place evntually changed the words to "What's that coming over the hill, it's Michael Chopra". DJ cottoned on and played it a few times. Classic. Been up there loads of times after meeting a couple of mad Geordies on holidays - about 12 years ago! Generally take in a game - it's been Darlington & Hartlepool in the past, lol - but boy do the Geordies enjoy us beating Sunderland! Usually stay in the Premier Travellodge - directly under the Tyne bridge & right opposite the boat. Very convenient. 2 minutes or less
