At the risk of being politically incorrect it's interesting but not surprising to note that the vast majority have something in common. Until someone says it we will never address it.

You tell me. From the extensive TV pictures that I saw the looters and rioters were generally black. Yes there some whites too. But generally black. Therefore its highly likely that most arrested would be black. Its not rocket science and it has nothing to do with racism. In fact ALL white people that I know couldn't give two fcuks about the colour of another's skin. And I know 4 police officers and my father was also a police officer, and you can rest assured that none of them are racist. So stop talking rubbish.

 

everyone knew this anyway have you ever been in a prison ? a very high percentage in prison are not white people, its the old bill the keep fitting them up and stopping them unjustly in the street and finding drugs and guns on them.

 

listen pal if your filming in a black area course there gonna be black. in eltham it were millwall n charlton fans rioting cos they're game ad got called off. in salford it were mostly whites.colour was nothing to do with it fact they were all poor areas was a factor and i had 2 uncles and have 3 cousins in the force so don't preach to me that ALL the police are wonderfull. i've lived a life mate bin, on demos,picket lines football matches etc

The black 'community' have been quoted as saying that they feel victimised by being stopped and searched by the Police. The reason for this is that most gang, gun and knife crime activity is conducted by black people. It has nothing to do with racism.

At Christmas the Police conduct random breath tests on people travelling to and from their places of work. This is because statistically working class and middle class people are a higher risk of drink driving at that time of year.

The Police sit outside of nightclubs and bars up and down the country every weekend waiting for young people to come stumbling out acting like nobs. This is because young people generally get pissed up in town centres.

During the height of the troubles in Ireland, the Police would be suspicious of particular parts of the Irish community because it was Irish reublicans who were plotting against us.

The Arab world is under scrutiny now for the very same reason.

I am sick of hearing the same old accusations of racism rolled out for the Police simply doing their job.

I was playing cricket in Huddersfield a few weeks back against an all Asian team, and becasue we mullered them they accused the umpires of racism. It works both ways.

 

You listen pal. Ive been locked up four or five times over the years. Purely because I was acting like a knob and deserved it. They were filming in black areas because thats where it generally occurred.

 

how the hell you can say that my posts are suggesting that police are racist is beyond me i think your just looking for something thats irritating you. my posts are saying that the police don't always get the people who are causing the trouble can tell you that some of my mates were arrested at a match because they had the audacity to shout encouragement to their beloved reds. come with me to Hatfield Fitzwilliam,n maltby n listen to some true stories about police there in 84/85.n if you want to watch violence on telly involving police have a look at that video on that bloke in london wi his hands in his pockets trying to get home

And of course there is always a minority of 'wrong uns' in every profession, vocation and walk of life. The police never have been and never will be any different. Some miners were lovely personts. Some doctors are murderers. Some nurses are killers. Some nursery assistants are paedos and some shop assistants are thieves. Some Barnsley fans are racists. I could go on.

You clearly have a prejudice against the police. Just because you are on a picket line or involved in a protest it doesn't automatically make you right and give you freedom to break the law. The Police are human too. I'd love to see how you respond to thousands of lunatics wanting to exact their revenge against the government on to you. Youd probably give them a good hiding in order to protect yourself from harm.
