Is totally wrong. We don't need it. Its bad publicity and will do more harm than good. I am not happy at the minute and Simon davey is walking on borrowed time but this is not the answer. We are still only 4 games in. How daft will you all feel if we get a bit of form going in the next few games. I dont agree with it one bit. Patrick Cryne will do the right thing and I back him 100%. You losers are gonna force him out by forcing him into making decisions that he probably doesnt want to do just yet. The players morale will go down and any chance of us performing in the next few games will go straight out of the window.

The majority of Barnsley fans don't like Simon Davey and i agree that the start of this season is unacceptable but still guys 4 GAMES. I alsways said at the start of the season to start to judge him after 10 games but Cryne sacked him now not knowing anything about the protest, then id back him. Patrick Cryne doesn't deserve this. He has done wonders for the club, is a fan through and through and some morons are gonna force him out. Fans do not make decisions in football. If we did then we would have gone through 100s of managers in the last year. Fans should get behind their team no matter what and when things dont go too well, have a moan and a groan, boo if you want but the next game we stand as one and get behind them agian and again. Thats what we do.

Im telling you this, force Cryne and Davey out now after 4 games and Barnsley FC will be the laughing stock of English football. Eveyone on here was surprised at Bryan Gunn's departure at Norwich. All other fans accross the country will be the same about us at sacking Davey after 4 games. GET A GRIP!!!

I think SD is on borrowed time, but PC really doesn't need his hand forcing, could do more harm than good.

What protest tomorrow? I must have missed that. Having a protest on one of the main working days, when we don't have an home match and when Cryne might not even be there seems daft. The players probably wouldn't see it either with travelling to Reading for the cup game.

Trouble is, we could be 10-12 points adrift at the bottom if we wait 10 games

More pressure than him losing 4 games on the bounce?

SD's under pressure. He knows that, PC knows that. Let him make the decision when it's right.

As if the team haven't enough problems...

...the fans want to stick their oar in and press the self destruct button. I really do despair of some of the people I have the misfortune to share my support of the club with.

cheers pal. Although we are in a dire position and playing dire football, its too early and fans shouldnt personally pressure Patrick Cryne. Patrick will know what is acceptable and will make the right choice 100%. I trust him and so should everyone else. Leave the guy alone!!!

Do you post on TYKESMAD aswell RyhillTyke, lol. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I aint sayin that we shouldnt sack him. I am saying that we shouldnt sack him after 4 games and I am also saying that putting pressure on Patrick Cryne will force him out and is a wrong decision. You are right, we aint doing well at the minute but that doent give us the right to act like idiots and form protests at the Reading game. I can imagine on Saturday a group of maybe 14 people causing a scene and thousands of Barnsley fans looking at them laughing their head off.

    Agreed

Totally wrong. The Sheffield media will love it. We will be laughing stocks.

Patrick Cryne will take action if and when it is needed.
