This recession must be starting to bite hard

    Sitting in the departure lounge at Oslo airport 40 mins before my flight is due to leave. Its usually packed this time as there are 2 flights to Heathrow within 5mins of each other. There is hardly anyone here so unless there is a last minute stampede there will be 2 half empty flights leaving at just after 5pm on a friday - they are usually completely full.

    - Plane out Monday morning was less than half full as well

    Well bad recession means lots of people losing their jobs thats sort of a what

    Deserted planes on a Friday means that companies have severely restricted travel - which is usually only one of a raft of cost cutting measures including job losses, pay rises will be a bit meagre as well - which is annoying as ours are due now - Boss already been mentioning times are hard and money is tight so I can see where that is going.

    Could effect all Air travel

    Note British Airways are a good percentage down on passengers in the last period. Plus Holiday traffic with the weak pound will get less. Ah well we can all go to Cayton Bay :D :D
