We are at home this time But win this one and we are in the Championship next season Can't see Hull, Leeds or Leicester doing owt this weekend If we win, and if anyone of these teams lose - they then have to win there last two games - can't see that happening So its up to us The most important game of the season I'm nervous now.........and its only chuffing Wednesday (yikes) (yikes) (yikes) Sorry, its still Tuesday...........thats it !!!...........need to calm down.........calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean
If we won and Leicester lost, would still mean Leicester just needing to beat us to go back above us. But I do agree, in that I think 1 win will be enough as it needs Leeds AND Hull to win 2 out of 3. All will be clearer after Saturday.
Agreed and well put Think a win on Saturday will all but guarantee safety though it wont be easy, we do have the fallback of the Leicester game at least which will turn into another Cardiff should we fail this weekend and the results go against us.
This Setdi.............one eyeball ont field - tuther eyeball ont scoreboard Preston v Leicester Southampton v Leeds Stoke v Hull All 3 home teams going for the playoffs Against 3 teams fighting for their lives.................... (hidebehindsofa) You watch.........there will be some surprises.................lets just hope not
RE: Agreed and well put As long as the Leicester game doesn't turn into another Norwich! Since the Birmingham game I've been confident we can avoid relegation. Last night for the first time, I realised that the wrong combination of results (us losing and Leeds and Hull winning) would put is in the same situation we were a few years back when we went into the Norwich game (last home game and penultimate game of season) knowing defeat could consign us. All the different scenarios are going through my head at the moment.
100% agree If we win at the weekend and the other results go our way, we are 99.9% safe. Trouble is, at this point in the season, bottom sides have a nasty habit of beating top sides. When I look at the games in hand I think logically and based on form we can do it ... I just scared that Leeds may go all illogical on us and win.
No, thought i'd see how life was going on the down side! Us IT-managers shouldn't really talk to ***** like you.
I'll take the game v Brentford option please True - but don't forget we had to win at home re Brentford to ensure safety so that we didn't go to Wigan needing anything and we did that! The flying pig came to the rescue in the 90 oddth minute!
I was over for easter but didn't catch the Ipswich match Over for the first game of the season i reckon. How's things at your end?
RE: I was over for easter but didn't catch the Ipswich match Alright. Went to the Coventry debacle with Miss Bucks (1997) - Airey to you. Currently stealing a wage at BT in the City. Not for long though, Airey says he's gonna bubble me to authorities. What firm you with? and don't say Crewe Fookin Crew either!
Working for a firm called Arvid Nilsson and Dokka Fasteners. It's a wholesale and manufacturing concern in Scandinavia and China. Enjoying it, hard work and learing a lot! The directors are mental
Wonder if the Cardiff crowd turn out.... doubt it, but would be nice though instead of them just turning up for the SWFC game every season and then listening to the pigs singing "you only come to see the Wednesday" which unfortunately is true in most cases!
On the other hand all the teams could win and we are then carrying the nerves forward to next setdi. I really hope it all goes for us this week, cant stand this tension.
