This summer has got to be the most uninspiring

    build up to a new campaign for me ever.

    I eat, sleep and breath BFC but what with the fairly mediocre new shirt, which for the first time in years didn't excite a single bone in my body and the fact we haven't got a 'name' in yet, and the general mood on this board i've just lost interest.

    I've renewed my ticket (which i said i wouldn't do) and my train is booked from Toon for opener at Swillsborough, until then i'm just gonna enjoy the great british summer, my holiday, a few gigs upcoming and just wait till August.

    i've hardly been on here recently to view or post, nothing is happening, no excitement, no reason (except Humey) to be optimistic. I'll just continue to wince at the Sky Sports ticker as every other club under the sun strengthens while we move backwards

    If we sign Gray,Adam and Hammill, things will look a lot brighter though. We will still need to bring in some defensive cover but if we get those 3 then I am confident we will start the season with a stronger squad.

    I think we have a good chance of signing all 3 to be honest.
