    At the time the window closed, we were going reasonably well, and any loanee would've been unlikely to get straight into the team at that time. Therefore, which clubs would've loaned us players that were good/ready enough to hit the ground running for us and would the club and the player be happy to sit on our bench?

    Also, when we had Tunnicliffe, many folks, me included, felt he was disrupting the formation of the team.

    We have been very unlucky with the way things panned out.
