Hecky has definitely brought this team closer together no doubt about it. LJ was always more focused on himself and his own career. He even sacrificed results because he wanted to be seen as a manager who could get a team playing Pep style football. Paul Heckingbottom is genuinely in this for the club, the team and the fans. You look at the video of the players post match & that is a team that is going to take some stopping. Team spirit is outstanding. Well done Hecky & all the players in the first team squad.
If only during that 8 consecutive league defeats we'd had average results (3 wins and 2 draws) we'd already be promoted now. Incredible performances, positive attacking football, great defending and excellent goalkeeping. This team has the lot.
