This thing about the free games for under 10's

    As we were discussing at the match yesterday - it's not the under 10's you need to be targetting, it's the 11-14 year olds....that's the formative stage when you start to have allegencies.

    Of the 4 of us at the game we all had got an interest and started picking teams when we were 11 or 12.

    That and it's only a handful of games. Week-in week-out it's still cheaper to watch some Premiership or Championship teams in family enclosures.

    I started following BFC because my dad took me to the games. I would probably be following a different team now if this pricing policy was in force back then. Higher division, cheaper games? It makes no sense.

    Theres no real set age when you start to show allegiance to a team.

    Quite a lot start off as nippers, so I think the "kid for free" malarky is a good idea.

    I think parents aremorelikelyto take young kids for say £5 or for free, because, lets face it, as a parent you don't get to watch the match as closely with that age child in tow.
