Same points on 47. Difference being that we only managed to gain 2 points from our remaining 7 games. Couldn't find a league table to see how the table faired at gameweek 39-40 but would be fascinated to see it if someone could find a link.
Wow. Look at how far away the teams in bottom 3 were. Just shows how strange this season is. I thought we ended last season on 49 points but it must have been 48. Seems we are a point better off this season. Just shows what a job flicker n co have done since turn of year.
At this point last year we were eleven points clear of the drop zone in 17th place and almost went down. At the moment Leicester are twelve points clear and sitting in seventh!
