we were optimistic.... We had brought in a few decent midfielders the new centre backs were showing signs of looking the part and McCarthy was getting decent reviews as well at full back. Fast forward a week and were in turmoil because of a poor showing at Rotherham in a friendly.... I'm not saying all is rosey but were in a similar position to a lot of clubs looking to add the last bit to their squads. We need a couple of strikers and a winger I would say and I'm sure we will get them in along with 2 or 3 loan players once the premier teams submit their 25 man squads.....
