Yeah a weeks a long time in footy, and a lot can happen during the course of it. Its been a disappointing one for me, or maybe even a bad one, after the two defeats. However, I wouldn't go as far as calling it a disastrous one, as I really don't think its ruined the season at all. Stevenage was hard to take I admit, but the ManUre cup thing was more of a one-off adventure, than anything else. It goes without saying of course, but we move on now, and on to the next match. And a possible win at Burton later today really is just what we need to get the confidence coming back again!.
Anyone know when we get our money for the man ure Cup tie? Will it be paid in installments, you never no, just wondering for Jan window, might not get it till end of season.
Both disappointing in different way's, Stevenage to not be at least there equal and Tuesday make world class player's do something special to beat you and we didn't.
And there it is, the positive end we all needed to this week. And we're back up to 3rd place again tonight. Not performance wise by the sounds of it, and it worries me what might happen if we play like that against the 'better' teams in this League. But the result is what we wanted, and if we can go on a nice little run of good results, then who knows ehh!.
Yeah maybe, and its not meant to be disrespectful of course is it. You can only beat what's in front of you, on any given day. And I think when we say better/harder teams, we're just saying these are the ones who you would expect to be consistently in the top 6.
