We appointed Danny Wilson......Millwall & Charlton got Ian Holloway & Bob Peeters!! Look at where we both are now!! We either aim higher or we will continue to move sideways & backwards!!
Good point. We do seem to be a regressive club right now. Decisions seem to come from emotion, history and the belief loyalty exists in football today. We hear Bobby, who did a great job, should be in our centre mid at the age of 34. Not saying he should or shouldn't, but we do often look backwards. I thought when Ben Mansford described Danny's return at this time last year, it sounded like an appointment based on history not where we are going in future.
Yep, I thought he wasn't the manager at the end of last season, but couldn't remember exactly who was! But Riga did a good job when he came in and eventually got them out of trouble!
Agreed. Although I don't want Danny to be sacked, if he is then I would try and get Riga to be the new manager as he also did a decent job at Blackpool at the start of the season in a very difficult situation
