All I keep reading is lack of effort & spineless off people about the team / squad. Can you name me these players?

I can't think of too many.

Cwyka, Mellis, McCourt, Proschwitz, Frimpong & Shea. Maybe there's more but I can't really think of any.

How many of them played more than 10 times? The first 3.

We're going down because of a lack of ability nothing to do with effort.

I'm going through the rest of the squad & I see a lot of graft but not much in the way of quality.

People have spoke about tactics but let's be honest whatever system & players we've tried we've not been quite good enough.

Let's stop pretending none of the lads care. O'Grady, Jennings, Steele, Dawson, Hassell, O'Brien, Cranie, M'Voto, Kennedy & even on loan Ramage are all lads who never give anything less than 100% even if ability lets them down.

Let's stick together as fans, bring through a few young lads, bring in a few decent free agents who aren't stuck in a losing culture & have a real go next season

I'd probably add McLaughlin to that list too. Also, Lawrence's reactions everytime we scored said alot to me, it may have taken him a few games to get back up to speed, but he looked like he cared to me. M'Voto too maybe? Ability let him down at the start, but he never looked lazy or work shy.

Pretty much agree that the biggest problem has been lack of quality we have too many players who are not really good enough at this level Ironically they may well be good enough next season

That's exactly what I think. Most of them will be top quality league one players

    I agree.

I feel sorry for McLaughlin, he's given his all here but I don't think he's ever been fully fit since his debut

we had no quality last year and we stayed up! we stayed up through unity, hard work and collective responsibility (and yes a good wedge of luck) but you get luck from being positive and courageous (not being a timid gutless pussy turning back towards your own goal at the first whiff of space)

Scotland's goals & Mellis' assists / creativity played a massive part IMO.

Unfortunately Mellis has been awful this season & Scotland was another year older / slower.

I think the whole going backwards thing is down to a lack of confidence & ability rather than been gutless.

The likes of Dawson, Kennedy & Woods all do this & I'd say it's definitely a lack of ability in their cases

but we're polishing turds aren't we! football is a team game and we've been an awful TEAM, collectively as week as I've seen since Spackers, mentally, physically and technically not good enough, we have been rightfully relegated for being shitter than everyone apart from Yeovil and on basis of next weeks results we could end last which is where we belong

You cannot polish a 'turd' but you can role it in glitter
