comes down to the football authorities and sky sports. As i mentioned a few days ago i wondered how they would manage to send out all the tickets to those who live away from Tarn within such a short timescale and its been proven today. Personally i think its probably sensible what the club have done as its lesser of two evils when it comes to chaos. If we asked the club to send them out and take telephone bookings etc it would cost the club more in manpower and more errors are likely to be made. At least this way the season ticket holders have their seat waiting to be claimed up to the last minute which is fine by me. i think the club need to urge those who live in and around Barnsley to claim their tickets as early as possible to allow those who cant get down to the ground until the night of the game to do so more easily. At least those of us who are struggling to make it to the match due to other comittments wont have to fork out for a ticket (just in case) if we cant get to the game. Personally im annoyed by how football is run in general rather than the club itself. to cram the games into such a short timescale (not to mention putting the games in midweek) is a real kick in the teeth to the ordinary football fan. having said all that i reckon there will be queues half a mile long outside the ticket office on the night. Anyone for a delayed kick off?

At Swansea i agree that they seemed more ready allowing the sale of tickets to season ticket holders from today but they only allow season ticket holders till wednesday to claim their seats. For those like me not being able to get the ground till the night of the match it would have meant i would lose my seat. The club are staying open till 7pm on the two nights before and i would expect if demand is that high in the evnings that Gordon will pay the staff overtime to get everyone sorted out with a ticket. Again i think its the whole organisation of the league/sky that has cocked this up. And hey when has this club ever done anything an easy way?
It's not sky or the football league The club has known when the games were for a long time, yet the box office is closed sunday and monday. That isnt sky's fault or the football league, it is the fault of Barnsley FC and only Barnsley FC
the short time scale makes it hard but huddersfield are managing to sell tickets for oakwell tomorrow morning so why can we manage that?
the time scale is short but it isnt THAT short really sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday.
five days to sell tickets there yet we are only using three. It is a joke

Could be summet to do with getting em printed? But then again that dosen't explain how Swansea are selling today
RE: Could be summet to do with getting em printed? Maybe Swansea could aford to be left with all the tickets on their hands if they didnt make the playoffs !
