No? Maybe just me then,i suppose 10 players going down with food poisoning.........

24hrs before biggest game of season is just a coincidence!

Poor old Michael Carrick looked dejected having to come after playing through illness

Hard look Spurs would have been nice to have a different side in Champions League next year, especially one with the tradition that they have

Well I assume that they were all staying at same hotel bfore game or had a meal at training ground which could be where it was picked up. As you say though it could have been someone who had a bet on Arsenal making CL or an Arsenal fan who worked in kitchens

that game must have been worth 3million quid at the very least

Police inquiry into footballers' food poisoning at hotel

POLICE are investigating a hotel in east London after football players from Tottenham Hotspur were struck down with food poisoning ahead of yesterday's crucial Premier League match.

Detectives and about 20 officers attended the Marriott in Canary Wharf after the club asked police to investigate.

The squad had eaten a buffet dinner at the hotel on Saturday night and about half were taken ill early yesterday. A move to delay the kick-off was rejected and Tottenham lost to West Ham, 2-1.

The hotel's general manager, Paul Downing, said food samples were to be sent to a lab for analysis.
