    Don't go back that far

    Current landlords (Jim and Joyce) have been there 11 years as far as I know, before I moved to Dodworth.

    They are now supported by Sarah and Emma - trust me, it's a nice pint in there :D :D

    Tend to agree nice pint though and just round the corner from me

    Thornley is just up the road from where I used to live. Still go back for the quiz when I'm over. Is the pool table still going strong in the back room?

    Salesman, I knew George well, did you know that.

    George died a few years ago. I was a regular in the Black Bull at Stairfoot, where George was landlord before he moved to the Thornley. I occasionallyspeak to his nephew, Ian ( even though he's a Pikey Rovers fan) George was a cracking bloke.
