RE: WHAT??? £7 for a scarf, is everything about the chelsea game guna be a rip-off nt i do apoligise, twas my mistake, i have now corrected the error, please 4give me
Aye, terrible I've heard the price of kit kats is going up to £1.27 for the Chelsea game. Can't we get some balance into this? No-one is forcing anyone to buy a scarf so if anybody thinks they are too expensive just don't buy one. On the day of the match people will spend loads of money on counterfeit scarves, hats and whatever outside the ground, and none of this money will go to the club. Why shouldn't the club cash in if people want to spend money? Most people, including me, will happily spend nearly £3 each for several glasses of watery yellow liquid which makes you embarass yourself in public and gives you a headache the next day, so what is £8 for a scarf?
RE: Aye, terrible yeah got point made, but for £8 i can get 4 pints. id rather have 4 pints than 1 scarf. and whos guna buy a £8 scarf when they'll be sellin them for £3 or whatever outside ground
Which pub is that in? In my local 4 pints costs nearly a tenner. I agree with you though in my entire life I have only owned about 3 scarves. I shudder to think about how many pints I have had.
Ooops forgot about the Courthouse Will be in there on Tuesday night before the game but will struggle to fit 4 pints in.
Depends If there's decent hand pulled stuff about I go for that, otherwise Fosters, hence the term "yellow liquid". My favourite is Theakstons in my local.
RE: Depends I used to be a lager drinker but saw the error of my ways Lager was a bit like the smirnoff ice of its day when it first came out - a poof's drink or so I've been told
