    Rubber legs

I sometimes just wish he would cross to somebody in front of goal a couple of seconds earlier, instead of the &quot;rubber legs&quot; conundrums that rarely work out.</p>

i wish he'd run at defenders more often insted of running out to the line then trying to run down it with the ball

since he came back into the side after bein dropped hes improved every game

and is now one of our key players...he's took the fact he needs to up his defensive game on board and it clearly shows!

    well done disco

Getting better and better, in my opininon. Never really impressed be with 'Tracking back' but He's getting a lot better at it. Great defensive and offensive display on Tuesday night.

    I thought he was class.

    My ratings for Tuesday neet:

Colgan: 6 - didn't do much. Luke Chadwick's ugly sister.
Hassell: 7 - great second half ... got caught out a few times in the first. Still ugly.
Reid, P: 4 - still the worst captain we've ever had. He was forced into waving his hands about a bit in the second half, as Lewin was showing him up ... an 18 year old lad organising the defence - even though the captain is stood 10 yards away. The corner he ducked under, with no-one behind him - luckily, was pure comedy.
Lewin: 8 - composed, calm, nice passer. When he gets some meat on his bones he'll be a right laiker. Reminded me of Curtis Davis ... not in colour - but in the way he strode out with the ball.
Hecky: 5 - not good enough. They sailed by him in the first half - but then forgot he was there in the 2nd.
Howard: 6 - marginalised on the flanks. Any other team would want their best player to have the ball - we pop him out wide ... where his only weakness, lack of pace, shows as obviously as my bald head.
Togwell: 7 - nice tackles. Gives us balance. Should be one of the first names on the teamsheet.
McCann: 7 - the best I've seen him play by a mile. Very neat & tidy. He's still only got 10% as much ability as Bri though.
Devaney: 9 - tracked back well & showed how good he can be. Even at 2-0, when we decided to defend along the edge of our own box, he was our "out" ball. Needs a hair cut.
Peter: 7 - nice touches, decent pace & a lovely finish (nah - he's Polish, sorry, Hungarian). Runs like a spacker though.
Istvan: 8 - Trevor Allot on acid. Won most headers, showed determination & his header was the business. Would've taken the match ball had he decided to score instead of diving in the box.

    Very good result.
Of the matches I've seen - we've been outclassed in two halves ... the second half against Wednesday at Oakwell & the first half at Hull (when we came back & won).
If Dwayne Mattis gets back in the team after that - then Simon deserves to be dry loved by every Tongan Goat on the planet.

I didn't think we were great ... but if that's the balance we need between great attacking performances & getting results - then I'll be more than happy.

    Well done Simon.
    Nice free kick routine too.
    Get in.
