This takes the biscuit -taken from one of the Twitter sites below
I was at the game and had a clear view of this incident. Hume was wound up because he was getting no joy from Morgs or Ehiogu. Hume was going for Morgs as Morgs was about to head the ball and ran into the point of Morgs elbow hence the skull damage. Watch Morgan practice headers, he alway has his elbows out. There was no intention to hurt Hume in my opinion.

yeah, just like JFK.... ...always headbutting bullets, even though he knew LHO practised sniping from open windows. unbelievable. to quote Alan Partridge, 'this country!'
I was watched that premier league season when Utd went down and it was plain to see that the other teams were winding utd up because they kept beating them. When it goes to court it will be plain to see they went down because they were sh**!
Now I understand, it was actually Hume's fault He was 'going for' Morgan. Maybe he deliberately ran into his elbow to try and get him sent off...
Yes exactly .... it was just after Hume hit Mogs in the knee with his groin beginning to think I was the only one that saw it
