Is it just me but, Kozluik? abysmal today - as he was at Layer Road last Setdi when he was skinned by Elkobi for their first goal. Looked absolutely lost in the first half - although his run through two defenders probably deserved a goal. Apparently he is our highest earner (according to hin) in which case, we are being ripped off. Given we were playing 3-5-2 today, Kozzie didn't seem to know whether he was wide midfield or back 4 in the first half. A lot of fans seem to be criticising Paul Reid - but is Kozluk a better defender? Yep, Reidy does make mistakes - he owns up to them and he is committed to the club. He certainly doesn't deserve some of the abuse that he gets from this BBS and at Oakwell. Souza - class player and MotM without a doubt. Chatted to him in the Legends Suite after the game and he is a credit to the club. Question Davey. Was the substitution of Odejayi the right choice? And how much of a balls-up was the sub of Werling with Ricketts? Dominik clearly didn't know he'd been subbed - neither did the physio. Sorry, but it's unprofessional by BFC imho - similar to the situation where Reid got a bloodied nose against Darlo - but they didn't have a spare shirt for him and he had to play with his normal shirt inside out. We are a Championship club and these situations shouldn't arise. On the plus side - good 3 points today, even though we NEVER make it easy for ourselves! Also, had a chat with oldtimer1928 (Bob) in the Legends suite, who was the guest of the Supporters Trust who were sponsoring the game - what a gent, and what a character! Also, big plus to Andy Johnson - not rated him so far and never thought he would last a full 90 minutes, but today proved me wrong. On the negative side - we've totally changed the first team personnel (Howie and Stan excepted) and yet, 3 games down. 8 goals conceded. Have we really improved, defensively?? Strikes me though that there are many on this BBS who are all too ready to criciticse BFC and it's fair to say that they can't please all of the people all of the time. On the other side of the coin, the club don't always do themselves favours with the fans and the paranoia towards this BBS and the media in general (e.g. Radio Sheffield) do them no favours whatsoever. In conclusion - a good 3 points today and we have a strike force that will score goals for us this season. We need to sort out some defensive and midfield tactics though... and full marks to the club for the Legends Suite set-up - well thought out and pitched at exactly the right level/price. Well done.
Kozluks highest earner and Ill be playing every week quote was obviously one of his "Funnies".Odejayi looked like he had taken a knock earlier on.Dont quote me though.
In which case - fair enough. I thought we lost some momentum once Ode came off. Perhaps Mossto would have been a better replacement then?
RE: Written in a Tommee Tyke styleee Back four played excellent today, uptlill 55 mins and fell to pieces, lot better than Coventry.
But we were playing 3-5-2!! So where does a 'back 4' come into the equation?? I take your point though, as clearly Kozluk was somewhat confused.....
The problem IMHO was.. that when they went 3 upfront, we should have immediately reverted to 4-4-2 as it was 3 on 3, and Ebanks Blake was 1 on 1 with defenders too much. Thank God he didn't start.
Kozluk was poor - but he's not a wingback, which probably didn't help.
Far more positives than negatives today though, thats for sure.

Agreed - although I think 3 at the back suits us right now... given the personnel available. The 4 at the back option currently means either Foster playing at right back, which he doesn't like as Burnley played him there, Souza at left back which simply doesn't work (Bury away, Coventry at home) - or Werling at left back which doesn't work either. Hopefully Kozluk will improve as the season progresses..........
I agree that 3-5-2 suits us better - I just think, that as Davey mentioned "horses for courses", when they went 3 up front, we should have adjusted quicker to 4-4-2 to give us an extra body in both the midfield and the defence.
