Thoughts of Jon Parkin after last night........

Spoke to him after the match last night and he was certainly not enjoying them beating us.

He said he thought Barnsleys defence was poor and slow, that it was a much easier game to play in than last year and that on that performance its going to be a long hard season for us. He hoped we'd be OK but couldn't see it if we carried on playing like that.

I'd have liked to tell him he was talking crap but I think he was spot on to be honest.

 

Hard to argue with the lad when he played against that poor excuse of a team last night. I cant see why he wouldnt be completely honest. We can all see it, opposition players can see it, whereas Davey only wants a 30+ striker to complete his squad. God help us.
