west ham played it yesterday AT HOME against newcastle and did well. how about this as an idea:

    Muller

    Foster Moore Souza Kozluk

    Hassell Da silva Colace

    JCR Howard

    Hume

(hassell only there til january when we bring in another defensive midfielder)

we are not having any joy with wingers playing wide at the moment, cross's are scarce and the quality is bad, so why not
try and go down the middle ON THE FLOOR!!!!!!. Looks quite balanced to me.

    Thoughts????

Not a bad idea that - although I think I'd like us to try 4-2-3-1 and have Leon in for Bobby.

i know where you're coming from, people aren't over impressed with mr hassell in midfield and i agree.

Scolari plays 4-2-3-1 at cheslsea, and it was a favourite of capello's as well, but usually means two wingers playing in the 3 part of midfield, and for me they just aren't doing it at the moment.

thought train was to also stop the lump it football we have been drawn into and try and keep it on the floor as wehave some good passers in the team.
