    Its quite possible that Adams might sign for Blackpool because he spent time there and enjoyed his stay.Pretty much the same when Hammell signs for us,theres other teams sniffing around but he enjoyed his football here so really its a case of win some lose some.Theres nothing to sugest that we haven't matched Blackpools bid or terms.

    This Charlie Adam bloke

    Why do people think he would be a superb signing for us?

    I'd never heard of him before the transfer rumours started. He can't get in Rangers' team and got farmed out on loan to Blackpool last year.

    He might be a fantastic player for all I know, I've no idea, I've never seen him play. On the other hand he may be no better than the players we already have.

    Would be great to see a lad come thru & make it good... Butterfield looked every bit as good as Howard on Saturday... ok it was only one game, but he looks like a player who wants the ball, wants the responsibility..... as for Charlie Adam, never felt to me like he wanted to come to us.....don't want players who don't want to come here.

    Adam Hammill- that's another story - would love to see him back at Oakwell.

    Rangers fans on BBC 606 seem quite pleased hes gone.

    I agree - we were better than Blackpool despite the defeat and no-one stood out. Honestly how many on here actually have seen him to rate him? Everyone seems to love him. Is it because he is at a big club therefore must be excellent?? I once remember young Rocastle coming from Chelsea.....

    He might be brilliant

    ... but he never showed any interest in coming here. Just wasn't meant to be. Not worth losing sleep over whether he's good, bad or otherwise.

    Concentrate on getting Hammill in; and Butterfield up to the plate.

    sounds good. If we could sign one player for me it would be centre half. Chuck in Hammill, Gray and Thompson we will be sorted.
