What is the general thoughts of fans regarding Danny Wilson? 1. Would love to see him back. 2. No thanks, Judas....... 3. Willing to give him a chance. 4. Aim higher. 5. if we get a convincing win tomorrow I'd accept Mellon. At the moment if me I'd go 2 and 5. Although I do think where the type of club Ian Holloway loves to work at. No expectation and it only does his rep a lot of good to turn us into a good side.
No 1 for me all the way, you cannot blame a bloke for going to a job with more money, even though it was those ham-shank'ers south of us.
No1. Absolutely. Our 2nd best option IMO. After Holloway but I don't think he's realistic. I'm prepared to give Mellon my backing if we do choose him though. Pivotal game tomorrow.
You can if he said he wasn't going anywhere when he knew he was and to go to Washday was a betrayal. Before he comes back he should openly apologise for his betrayal then be led onto the pitch and get a kick in the knackers by a fan chosen by charity auction, highest bidder get to take a running kick
Very average. One hit wonder
The judas stuff. Really? Someone gives you a bell says come work for me I will pay you twice as much and give you more funds to try to achieve success of course you say yes. The only real option though I'd say that we could afford and who would be willing. If it's Mellon he gets my support but continuing a prophecy that he was part of that clearly failed wouldn't be my first choice.
Allow me to extend that analogy. You're an employer, and give a young apprentice an opportunity to shine. At a time when no one else in the company supports your decision. However, he does really well and everyone starts to support him. So you give him another chance in a much bigger job. He fails at the bigger job, but you choose to restore your faith in him, and give him another chance to succeed again. He accepts the offer, and tells all his supporters that he's accepted the challenge. He tells his supporters they should all buy shares in the company, to give him the best possible chance to succeed again. Then a week after everyone has bought their shares, he leaves, to take a job with the competitor across the road.
What with probably the best team we've ever had after leading us to somewhere that no one realistically thought we should go.
Like I said if it were most of us I don't think we would have even given it a second thought. I've been headhunted from a job I was promoted to. What I considered was whether it was a better job for me and my family not whether it was morally right to earn another 10 grand a year. It's not like he had any emotional ties and he left us with probably the best squad of players we've ever had. Though I liked the way the Hunter team played better.
I don't remember the judas stuff when Clarkey left to go Leeds. I guess Football fans were fairer then and less embittered.
