Davies- 6/10. Almost recreated the goal against Swindon in the 1st half. Poor goal to concede. Made some decent saves though.
Bree- 8/10. Did nothing wrong. Good solid performance. Better option than Wabara imo.
Long- 9/10. Fantastic debut. Big towering centre half who showed us what we are missing. Instincts of a top class striker for the goal.
Mawson- 6/10. Poleon gave him a torrid time. Long made him look better than he is.
White- 7/10. Decent debut. Looks no better than our Smithy who has been great this season though.
Isgrove- 5/10. Send him back ffs. No impact whatsoever. Useless.
Pearson- 6/10. Lucky not to be sent off. Didn't really do much else as usual.
Hourihane- 8/10. Rolled back the months with a fantastic long range effort. Made that difference as so often is the case.
Hammill- 8/10. Made us look far more threatening again. Unlucky not to score with a few good efforts.
Watkins- 4/10. Another 3 or 4 missed sitters to add to the list. This lad can't hit a barn door.
Toney- 5/10. Minimal effort throughout. Missed some great chances. Still don't know why we signed him.

None of the subs really made any impact. Sam was way out of position as per. Simeon was lucky his poor shot was parried to give us the goal. Smith did nothing wrong.

In my opinion it was 3 or 4 players carrying the rest. We were dominant in the 1st half and awful in the 2nd. I'm ecstatic that we have won though and I will put my dislike for certain individuals aside for tonight.

Without Isgrove and Pearson we'd have had nothing n midfield.

They were up for everything, snapping at heels, chasing balls, going forward, getting stuck in, where some players looked like they'd rather be in a hot bath.

Not sure how Watkins getting in goalscoring positions but admittedly not taking them, makes him a bad player?

Fernando Torres isn't a bad player, even if he is more wasteful in front of goal than he was a few years ago.

Having watched the highlights after hearing about yesterday's sitter, it appears to me to be a very good stop by their keeper. I think Watkins all round game is fantastic, he just lacks a little composure in front of goal.

I disagree on Toney. He gives us an option to go more direct as he wins a lot of flick ons and knock downs. Was unlucky not to score with his header. I think him and Winnall would be a good partnership
