Didnt make the game so guess i cant criticise but from the reports sounds like we had the same issue with perks and daws in midfield. Though it was a mistake going with them tonight - especially against scunny. Flicker said he knew what had gone wrong saturday but doesnt sound like it to me. We could have done without extra time and blacky having an extra recovery day. Not losing the faith yet but surprised we have changed our style of play from last season. Why couldn't we just keep on doing what we were doing - and doing well!?? Come on lads lets not shoot ourselves in the foot and lose the confidence.
Perkins was alright tonight. Dawson got better as the match went on. The big problem in midfield was Mellis. We may as well have started with 10 men.
Nope. We played 3-5-2. Mellis was behind the front two in his preferred position. He was hopeless. Hauled off after 55 minutes.

Our midfield were say on each others knees hence why Mellis got subbed. First half - ***** Second half - 45mins to 65mins - ***** 65mins to 90mins - all Barnsley Extra time - all Barnsley Penalties - dear dear dear Final conclusion = we won, early days but we need to improve drastically for Saturday
