We were unlucky yesterday - much better team than Birmingham and we should have won the game. They were only ever going to score from a set piece and it appears we cant defend them - dont know who should have been marking Davies but they did a poor job. If Davies hadnt skied that penalty wed have won the game - fine margin between a disaster and a great result. I can understand why he subbed Perkins off - just back from another injury, lots of games in quick sucession - but Matt Done is a very uninspiring player to bring on, not convinced he adds much. Tudgay looks like a quality player to me - him and Davies up front would surely bring goals. Hope we can sign him on permanantly. Hassell did pretty well at CB yesterday, trust him more than wiseman. Still think he'll get dropped for Foster, and I can see why: McNulty (who didnt do too bad yesterday apart from one stupid run in his own half which lost the ball) has been out of form, but he showed last year that he can hack it at this level so playing him for a decent run of games could be beneficial. Unless of courese Cranies back, him and Foster must be our best pairing. Greening looked decent to me - dont understand why hes criticised so much on here. Calm on the ball, good passer and seems to find space a lot. Did seem reluctant to advance forward at times, but I think this must be down to Hills instructions - he used to be an attacking mid at man utd! What has happened to Rob Edwards?! Must be a reason why hes nowhere near the team - thought he looked decent when fit last year. Doesnt even have a profile on the website anymore. Same with Collins. We need to try and get shut of these two, Etuhu and Mido in January. For what its worth, I still think Harewood could be a good striker given a proper run in the team. No idea why he was dropped after his 1st goal of the season. Does anyone know why Buszaky wasnt playing these last two games? So yeah, thats my thoughts on yesterday and the squad, if anyones interested!
