    1. Crowd wasn't as big as I expected, but made plenty of noise, got behind the team after first goal, went quiet after second.
    2. Cardiff looked good going forward but only carved us open a few times, we carved them open just as much (probably more in 2nd half).
    3. Hayes had a very good game at the front and then on the left after Devaney went off - my m-o-t-m - Howard a close second.
    4. Togwell looks a decent player.
    5. Devaney was poor, Championship defenders are much better than he's used to.
    6. Richards had a decent game, but is not a goalscorer, can't realy blame him for hitting the crossbar though, it was at an awkward height and the keeper put him under pressure.
    7. The back 4 all had good solid games as did Colgan.
    8. Tommy Wright - oh dear, I hate slagging off our players, but this lad has had enough chances to show what he can do and I'm afraid its not good enough.
    9. MacEndoe looked ok, but why didn't he attack their full-back after he got booked? He was obviously rattled and would have had to be very careful not to get sent-off. Instead we started playing more down the right through Devaney and when he went off, MacEndoe switched sides - didn't make sense to me.

All-in-all I'd say we don't look out of place in the Championship but we do need a striker and another experienced midfielder.

    Question.

What chances has Wright had? Just a question like. a few 20 minute spells of the bench?
