First time I'd seen us in pre-season last night and just a couple of thoughts. Drew 2-2. We didn't play particularly well first half and York were probably the better team. But second half we looked a lot better and controlled the game and there two goals came against the run of play. He looks light weight but El Hamouri impressed me. He is a natural left footer and set up the first goal and hit the post cutting in from the right. In the second half he floated around the pitch creating our best chances and did an absolutely crunching tackle. My only negative of the evening was the abuse Odejayi got from quite a large group. He was getting stick before he even got on the pitch. He actually made a difference when he came on. His pace got him in behind several times and he forced a good save from there keeper from which the second goal came from the resulting corner and held it up well and brought the midfield in to the game. However, the morons simply shouted abuse at him and told him to get off the pitch and that the only reason he scored against Chelsea was cos the ball hit him, and somehow blamed him for their second goal when he had his shot blocked by two defenders and on the resulting break they scored a 25 yard screamer! I'm in no way saying that KO is our main man or going to be player of the season. He and Macken can't play together, they both need to play with someone who will play off them and together they don't work. But FFS get off the lads back. He's obviously going to be here for another season so its in our benefit to get behind and hope he adds goals to his game. I just don't understand travelling all that way, paying to get in, just to criticise everything the team does and shout abuse at your own players. We're meant to be supporters
