It's great. A new, novel song that isn't simply us copying what we've heard the away fans sing for ages (Cant get enough, How **** must you be, I wanna go home etc etc). There's a few new songs knocking about from the away followings especially and I hope the fans that are beginning to create an atmosphere are allowed to continue. I heard a few grumblings about those in the corner at MK Dons jumping about and singing all sorts on Saturday... people need to lighten up and allow fans to create an atmosphere and feed on the feel good factor surrounding the club.

 

It's very apt for our current situation. Would people know the lyrics to the 'verse' though.

Really does sound quality!

 

We've been after an anthem, and I can't think of a more apt song to be honest that sums up our club, as we always seem to come up smelling of roses despite all the struggle.

 

100 % agree, Nightmare. Maybe someone who is in contact with the club (Gally?) could speak to the person in charge of the tannoy system? Surely it's worth at least a try for one game.

Didnt the Don ask the fans at one of the meetings why we did not have a 'club song' pre match? This could be it!

**** em. That corner was red hot all game. Hardly anyone there actually had tickets. Just congregated and non stop noise.

 

I've got to agree, this is a perfect song to be our club song. Let's hope the club adopt it.

We don't fire stuff back enough - for example, against Leeds we should have been signing "How sh*t must you be, we're winning a game" and on Tuesday after Wolves had been singing "how sh*t must you be" we could have done "how sh*t must you be, we've come from behind"

Had to check the link to see what song you were talking about - I always thought that was just called "Don't worry about a thing"! Bloody hell, all these years of hearing that song and never knowing the title!

 

If you wanted to could adapt the second verse to make it more our own. Something like:

All I can think about is Gladiators. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't put on within 0.3 seconds of the final whistle going immediately killing any natural atmosphere
