Oh no, not again - smoke and explosions in Warren Street....

    TUBE STATIONS EVACUATED
THREE London tube stations have been evacuated this afternoon following a series of incidents.

Warren Street, Shepherds Bush and Oval stations have all been cleared, police said.

    Yeah I suppose.

Or dodgy explosives? From Sky News:

Victoria Line train passenger Ivan McCracken told Sky News he spoke to an Italian man who witnessed an explosion just after the train arrived at the platform.

"He told me he had seen a man carrying a rucksack which suddenly exploded. It was a minor explosion but enough to blow open his rucksack. Everyone rushed from the carriage. People evacuated very quickly. There was no panic.

"I didn't see anyone injured but there was shock and fright.

"There was a smell of smoke."

"The man who was holding the rucksack looked extremely dismayed.

    I heard on the radio

about a rucksack exploding and people smelling smoke.
Apparently there are now reports of gunshots at one of the stations.

I'm next to Liverpool Street station in the square mile.

So a few miles away this time. The bus they are talking about isn't too far away.

A guy I work with witnessed the Tavistock square bus explode. He was getting off the bus infront as the roof was blown off.

Someone is going to have to get a grip on this - you do sense someone is trying to stir up religious and racial hatred in this country. It could be Muslim factions, but it could just as well be far right activists.

Why would who try to hurt their own?

I certainly wouldn't put this past far-right groups if they are "failed" explosions

THey are saying the explosions were detonators only

No other explosive material so may not be as daft as it sounds.

They have all been told to stay in the building (By Victoria Stn) for now.

No one seems to know whats happening

RE: My Missus has been grounded

Hope all is well Dave. I'm sure she'll be OK, but it worries me that the previous explosions a fortnight ago were passed off as electrical faults - so as not to cause panic.

If it is simply detonators, I wouldn't put it past the likes of the BNP.

    Latest...

Police said they were not treating reports of emergencies in the central London transport system as a "major incident yet," a spokeswoman said on Thursday.

Three underground stations were evacuated and the fire brigade said they had received reports of smoke coming out of a train.

    I'm sure she'll be ok.

At the moment it seems as if no-one really knows what is going off.
