That 50,000 grand for Wright is already looking like a waste of money and the 150k that Hayes will cost us is money down the drain

my understanding is that this season he has scored 10 goals and has the highest number of assists of any striker in the league.

    HAyes is a Quality player

    11 goals...

to anyone who watched the Rotherham game. Thats only 3 less goals in open play than Chopra scored in all of last season.

And for the record, Gareth Taylor is fcukin useless. One of my best mates is a Forest fan, they were going to throw a party at the City Ground when they heard he was leaving. Tall, fat, lazy, can't head, can't shoot.

tall, fat lazy sure you don't mean Marc Richards? I have mates who a re blunts and they would all have him back

and please don't try and compare Hayes to Chopra - whose goals all came in the LEAGUE - that thing that gets you PROMOTED

    Sorry..

I must have missed the promotion that Chopra got us.

I'm not comparing them, but if you think Hayes is a waste of money, my opinion of your estimation of footballers has gone way down.

Gareth Taylor is past it. By a long way. Believe me. He can't even get on the Forest bench FFS.

    Gareth Taylor ,

Are you takin the piss , we already have Mark Richards to play the non-scoring immobile big man up front.

Scott Taylor , he has had 1 good season I think, so no thanks.

Paul Devlin , isnt he older than Peter Beagrie???

The team needs some mobility and the ability to press the ball.

    RE: Sorry..

err....dint say Chopra got us promotion but is league goals that count not against Darlington in the cup

and lets not forget he was offered a new contract by a Premiership club - Hayes will never play in the Prem

    Jose Mourinho

After their FA Cup game, said that Paul Hayes was capable of playing at the highest level.

    Enough said.

Chopra was a fantastic player. Hayes is a good player. A fookin' damn sight better than Gareth Taylor.

    I'd be tempted by Devlin..

    as a substitute winger.

    G Taylor - no way.

S Taylor - lets wait and see how he plays tomorrow first, eh?

1 good season for Scott Taylor?? One more than Hayes then

    You're talking rubbish mate..

Hayes has scored 29 goals in one and a half seasons, and is likely to be our first 20 goal striker in a while.

Taylor was an absolute flop at Plymouth, and is looking to rebuild himself at MK Dons. Didn't work for Bridges or Stewart at Bristol City, and I don't think it'll work for him either.

People who can't see Hayes' talent...I just don't understand.

G Taylors an older version of Richards; Devlin is an older version of Shuker; Scott Taylor is an average goalscorer. Wouldn't want any of them.

    Ian Evatt please.

    Mourinho..

produced a dossier on the Scnuthorpe players for Brian Laws as a good-will gesture, and praised Hayes unreservedly. He's shown what he can do with service, all you had to do was go to the Bradford cup tie to see that.
